According to a report by U.S. Customs Border and Protection released on Saturday, "In September 2023, the U.S. Border Patrol recorded 218,763 encounters between ports of entry along the southwest border. CBP’s total encounters along the southwest border in September were 269,735.
CBP’s message for anyone who is thinking of entering the United States illegally along the southwest border is simple: don’t do it. When noncitizens cross the border unlawfully, they put their lives in peril."
The CBP message coincides with a report by CBP sources that nearly 2,000 Chinese nationals were apprehended at the southern border in the last two weeks.
On Sunday, former House Intelligence Committee Chairman and CEO of Truth Social Devin Nunes provided comments on Mornings with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News. Nunes said, "This issue has been going on for a while [and] covered up by the Fake News and the Biden administration. They knew these Chinese nationals were coming in months ago."
"I don't even get intelligence reports anymore, but you can see reports from all over the globe, the pictures, the videos, Chinese nationals, military age, just like you said. This is real and it's been happening for months. And everyone knew they were going to eventually make their way to the border and cross the border."
"It's not just China; there's over 100 different countries. And you only have to look, think about what we've seen in this country, some things you would not have seen some 15 or 20 years ago."
"You had pro-HAMAS, pro-Palestinian demonstrations going on not only in the big cities, you actually had it shut down the United States Congress, shut down Independence Avenue, led by members of Congress who are essentially pro-HAMAS."
"And this is another thing that's been lost in this whole discussion, Maria. Everybody is complaining about the Israelis, the hospital, which turned out to be Fake News. But what they're not talking about is they were celebrating this before the Israelis started bombing Gaza, celebrations were going on around the world about this devastating attack on Israel."
The surprise HAMAS attacks that occurred on October 7 follow the years-long war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as increasing numbers of illegal migrant cases across the world, from Lampedusa, Venice, and Rome, Italy, to Paris, France, and in the United States. Countries including Poland have ramped up their border security, erecting new walls to combat the influx of undocmented migrants being shipped in from other nations.
