COCKROACH CLEAN-UP: FBI Director Pick Kash "Wrecking Ball" Patel Faces Confirmation Hearing

Ahead of FBI Director pick Kash Patel's confirmation hearing on Thursday, dozens of former FBI agents have come forward to rally behind him.

A Senior Advisor for National Security, Defense, and Intelligence to President Trump, Kash Patel served more than a dozen years in government service as a public defender, national security prosecutor and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) civilian.

Kash took senior leadership positions in the Trump Administration, including Chief of Staff for the Department of Defense (DoD), Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and Deputy Assistant to President Trump & Senior Director for Counterterrorism.

Now, a nationwide group of former Federal Bureau of Investigation agents has sent a letter to Senate leadership in support of Trump FBI Director nominee Kash Patel making the case that the bureau is "broken" and in desperate need of a new direction. 'Lives have been shattered.'"

"As a group of retired FBI Special Agents and former Intelligence Analysts from across the country dedicated to restoring public trust in the FBI and returning the FBI to its original mission, we support President Trump’s nomination of Kash Patel as the FBI’s next Director," the letter, obtained by Fox News Digital and signed by over 50 former and retired FBI agents from Reform The Bureau, said.

The letter was sent to Republican Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Dick Durbin and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer."

Many are jubilant about Trump's picks. Steve Bannon, whose show The War Room currently has a Google search ban due to his celebrated MAGA conservative views, quips, "Everyday is Christmas Day."

Last week, Pete Hegseth was confirmed as Secretary of Defense, as well as Kristi Noem as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Hegseth has already rolled out Trump's Executive Order to ban transgenders from enlisting in the military. Noem hit the ground running this week assisting Border Czar Tom Homan and ICE in mass arrests and deportations of illegal migrants.

Bannon said, "When it comes to Trump and chemistry, these are people that 'get him' and understand him. Last time, there were a lot of people who didn't get him and didn't understand the vision."

"As the chief investigator for Congress' Russia Gate investigation under then Chairman Devin Nunes, Kash exposed rampant illegal activity by those leading our agencies of law enforcement."

"Patel uncovered the unlawful actions of the FBI/DOJ to spy on the Trump campaign, including intentionally withholding evidence of innocence from the FISA Court, the falsification of court documents, and authored the famous Nunes Memo which laid out the historic corruption and weaponization of law enforcement."

Jesse Watters described Kash in November of 2024: "When it comes to the agency that raided Trump's house, wiretapped his campaign, cooked up the Russia hoax, and covered up Hunter's laptop, Kash is comin' in hot."

In a podcast that garnered more than 1.2 million views with former U.S. Navy S.E.A.L. and CIA contractor Shawn Ryan, Patel said, "I'd shut down the FBI Hoover building, on Day 1, and reopen it the next day as the Museum of the Deep state."

Patel said, "I'd take the 7,000 employees that work in [the Hoover building] and send them across America to chase down criminals. Go be cops!"

In another interview with Larry Kudlow of Fox News, Patel said, "The worst weapon we have in government is a two-tiered system of justice that's been weaponized. I think it's time that Donald Trump come in there with the sweeping mandate that the American public gave him, to return to a singular system of Constitutional justice."

"Exposure of corruption," Patel told Maria Bartiromo "Put out the documents, put out the evidence. The people need to know that their FBI is restored, knowing full well what they did to unlawfully surveill them."

Jesse Watters said, "Besides fighting crime, Patel's main job is to lift up the furniture and watch the cockroaches scramble out. Expose the dirt. Confront the corruption... and declassify the secrets.

"But Washington doesn't want a clean up crew, they want a cover-up. That's why Kash is going to be Trump's biggest confirmation fight."

Kash says, "If anyone questions my unwavering commitment to the Constitution, I am happy to talk to them about it. I am especially happy to talk to the media about it. Anyone calling me a danger, let's just ask them for a proof, a piece of evidence that shows I have committed any Constitutional violations or ethical quandaries, and I'd love to hear their response."

"We don't believe Kash is there to destroy the [FBI], it still does great work," Watters claimed. "But it needs to be disinfected and reformed after the abuse of power. We don't call that revenge; we call that accountability."
