During a recent interview with Piers Morgan on his eponymous show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, Dennis Quaid said he will be voting for former President Trump.

Morgan asked Quaid, "What do you think of Trump?"

"I think I am going to vote for him in the next election."

"Really?"

Quaid reinstated, "Yes I am."

Quaid also talked about the weaponization of our federal government and the destruction of our Constitution.

"Are you ready for the blowback?" Morgan asked.

Quaid said his decision was not about taking sides. On his choice to vote for Trump, the actor said, "It just makes sense."

"I was ready not to vote for Trump until what I saw is more than politics; I see a weaponization of our justice system and a challenge to our Constitution that as Americans I don't think we're gonna have."

Quaid continued, "And, you know, Trump is probably the most investigated person probably in the history of the world, and they haven't been able to get him."

"People might call him an a**hole but he's my a**hole."
