Trump made a surprise visit to SneakerCon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, February 16, where he announced the signing of sneakers. While at SneakerCon, the beloved President signed the gold sneakers for attendees, who were up for bidding. Roman Sharf won the first-ever autographed pair of the golden high-tops for $9,000.
Immediately, news outlets everywhere, from the Daily Mail to liberal news pundits on X including Ed Krassenstein, alleged in now-deleted posts that Sharf was a "Russian oligarch." Headlines read, "Russian oligarch buys autographed Trump sneakers for $9K at auction".
Kudos to Roman Sharf, the man who paid $9,000 for a signed pair of Trump Sneakers, for taking the high road.

Ed Krassenstein released an apology on X today, "Kudos to Roman Sharf, the man who paid $9,000 for a signed pair of Trump sneakers, for taking the high road.
Yesterday, a huge portion of the mainstream media, in addition to bloggers, social media pundits, and the like (including myself) misreported that Roman Sharf was a "Russian CEO."
It turns out that he's actually from Ukraine, which wa spart of the Soviet Union. He's a US military veteran, and American.
I want to apologize for my mistake, and I hope the rest of the media does as well. I also hope Roman accepts my apology."
Roman then wrote in a quote post to X, "Thank you, Ed, I appreciate that. Take a man to own up to a misstep or a fault".
