Donald Trump says he will testify in his New York civil fraud case

NEW YORK — During a press conference-style interview during Day 2 of the $250 million civil fraud trial against him, his eldest sons, their companies and Trump Organization executives, Donald J. Trump announced that he plans to testify.

Contrary to popular opinion among liberal pundits and mainstream media organizations, Trump's New York appearance has only garnered more support from his fan base, with a flurry of alt-right news aggregates sharing his heavy-hitting moments on camera this week.

Given that the trial is occurring with no jury present, it's worth noting that the only media allowed into the courthouse are those with media passes granted by the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. The process of receiving a mayor's office-approved pass entails applying online and adhering to a variety of qualifications and rules. Applicants may then receive an approval within a 30-day time frame, as determined by the mayor's office.

Alternative right media presence was scarce both inside and outside the courthouse on Monday and Tuesday. Statements and court activity was widely shared by footage shown by Sky News, Fox News, and NewsMax.
