Donald J. Trump: The Trailblazer of the Bronx

Americans woke up on Friday morning to booming press about former President Donald J. Trump's Make America Great Again Rally in the South Bronx.

Situated in Crotona Park, a bustling crowd from every walk of life came to support Trump in his quest for the White House in 2024.

Both conservative and liberal news outlets alike arrived in the Bronx to witness what many say was "Trump's best rally yet."

A video went viral of America First activist Lou Valentino giving an interview with Trump-favorite media company, Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN).

Donning the infamous mugshot T-shirt and a MAGA hat, Valentino said, "This isn’t about Trump. It’s about him coming here and putting pressure on Democrats—this is a diverse group. We’ve been giving Democrats our vote for years. What changed?"

Former President Trump began his rally remarks with, "I’m here tonight to turn New York around and we are going to do it very, very quickly!"

A testament to the event, "the most powerful man in politics" Dan Scavino shared The New York Post's cover from May 24, 2024:

"UPTOWN FUNK: Trump storms deep-blue Bronx with 'love fest'."

And it certainly was a 'love fest'.

The term stems from an earlier point in the rally, when the former President coined the phrase. Then the crowd proceeded to chant "We love Trump!" Trump responded, "Who says we’re not gonna win New York? We’re gonna win New York!"

The New York Post reported, "Trump promised Thursday evening to “make New York City great again” during a raucous rally in the South Bronx, his first major campaign event in the state of his birth since 2016."

MAGA Inc. War Room shared a poignant clip taken from Fox News:

"We have mobs of migrants fighting our police officers and giving America the middle finger. But we are not going to let this continue. We are not going to abandon our hope and our pride." Trump continued, "This city has given us so much, and now it is time that we are going to give it back."

"Together we are going to make New York City great again, and simultaneously we are going to make America great again."

Thousands of people gathered outside the security checkpoints of Crotona Park, as the event was only permitted to host up to 3,500 people.

A nod to the President's understanding of the mental health and drug crisis plaguing America, he said, "But worst of all are the discarded needles from people that so desperately are in need of help."

The rally was so successful that the Biden-Harris Headquarters account on X had to join in on the fun; trying to discredit the former President:

I chimed in, "STRAIGHT OUT OF CENTRAL CASTING — @BidenHQ shared a video from @realDonaldTrump Bronx rally with the assumption that it’s a bad thing that he said: "Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Xi are at the top of their game and can’t believe what’s going on here."

While giving his famous hand gesture as if playing an accordion to the tune of pissed off Americans, Trump said to an enthusiastic crowd: "Joe Biden is the worst President in the history of our country."

The best video of the night came from an unlikely source: CNN.

Anderson Cooper interviewed reporter Kristen Holmes, who admitted that "[the crowd] was bigger than Democrats would like to see, particularly given this is one of the bluest counties in the entire country!"
